Once you have viewed and test driven the vehicle and chosen to proceed, the full balance is payable prior to or at the point of collection.
Legal ownership and physical handover of the vehicle take place only once the full outstanding balance has been received and cleared.
Before purchase, you will have the opportunity to view and test drive the vehicle. By proceeding with the purchase, you confirm that you are satisfied with the vehicle’s general condition, age, mileage and presentation, taking into account that it is a used vehicle.

From the point of ownership, you are responsible for routine servicing, maintenance, wear and tear items, insurance, road tax and any repairs not covered under warranty.
Every vehicle includes a 3 month warranty from the date of sale for added peace of mind.
This warranty covers major mechanical failure of the engine and gearbox only.
The warranty does not cover:
Any quality concerns must be reported to Ocean Road Autos within 30 days of the date of sale and as soon as reasonably practicable after the issue becomes apparent.
No repairs may be carried out without prior authorisation from Ocean Road Autos.
Ocean Road Autos is a trader selling vehicles in the course of business. All sales are governed by the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Under this legislation, at the point of sale the vehicle must:
These statutory rights cannot be excluded or limited.
If a fault was present at the time of sale, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in line with the Act.
Faults arising due to normal wear and tear, misuse, accidental damage or issues that develop after the point of sale are not covered by the Act.
Where a deposit is taken, it confirms your intention to proceed and secures the vehicle pending payment of the remaining balance.
The agreement becomes legally binding once cleared payment for the vehicle has been received.
If you decide to withdraw after the agreement becomes active, the deposit may be retained to cover administrative costs and potential loss of sale.
Payment of a deposit or the full purchase price confirms that you have read, understood and accepted these terms, including the warranty coverage, voluntary return policy and your statutory consumer rights.
